She was predeceased by: her son Cayden. She is survived by: her mother Diane Hasse (Quinnan); her daughter Kyleigh; her siblings, Brad (Megan) and Kristina (Matt); and her grandfather Edwin Hasse. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.
In keeping with Michelle's wishes to donate her body to science, a gathering is being planned at a later date.
