She was predeceased by: her parents, Elder William Barnes and Willie Mae Barnes; and her brothers, William Barnes III and Melvin Barnes. She is survived by: her daughter Valita Barnes of Toledo, OH; her grandson Jordan Barnes of Toledo, OH; her siblings, Angela Robbins (Wayne) of Milwaukee, WI, Theresa Jackson of Flint, MI, Joyce Barnes of Atlanta, GA, Ettienne Walker (Tyrone) of Atlanta, GA, Sheila Chapman of Saginaw, MI, Milton Barnes (Lyn) of Albion, MI, Derle Barnes of Detroit, MI and Mark Barnes (Mary) of Saginaw, MI; her sister-in-law Earlene Barnes of Saginaw, MI; her goddaughter Danae Shepard; her cousin Charles Sanders (Mildred); and her friends, Almeta McCray, Elder Sherrick and Lahoma Anderson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
