She was predeceased by: her parents, William Block and Florence Block (Rapson). She is survived by: her husband Harold Gates; her children, Laurie (Ron Gardner), Garry Gates, Suzanne Gates, Teresa (Chad McPherson), Joseph Gates and Sharyl Gates (Frank Ortiz); her grandchildren, Benjamin, Sneha Gardner, Daniel, Anna Gardner, Stephen, Heather Gardner, Rachel, Sean Loftus, Hannah, Andrew Fox, Zane, Chloe, Clayton Gates, Emmaline Gates, Julia and Kenny Keefe; her great grandchildren, Caleigh, Peyton, Layne, Phoebe, Raziel, Adiana, Isabelle, Bryce Gardner, Cooper, Halle, Luka and Macklin Loftus; her grandchildren, Mila and Lincoln Keefe; and her sisters, Phyllis Nagel and Sharon Greenleaf. She is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
