She is survived by: her friend Paula Vanessa Thompson; her children, Melissa Simmons of Saginaw, MI, Jerry Lynn Thompson of Saginaw, MI, James Carl Thompson of Lincoln, NE, Melinda Lockett (Todd) of Kalamazoo, MI and Markee Thompson of Atlanta, GA; her sisters, Betty Jane McKinney of East St and Ethel Mae Miller of Columbus, MS; her siblings-in-law, Lucille Jones of Brockton, MA, Earnestine Honey of Grenada, MS, Jewel Honey-Love of Channelview, TX, Lee Honey (Diane) of Memphis, TN and Sammie Honey (Cathy) of Garland, TX; her daughter-in-law Yolanda Thompson; her godson Kirk Floyd; her foster child Chanteau Patrick; and her close friends, Burl, Cynthia, Dennis, Diana, Faye, Felix, Linda, Steve and Val. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
