He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Tovar; his children, Ramiro Gonzales II (Jessie), Ruben Gonzales (Tomasa), Rene Samuel and Sandra Irene Gonzales (Alexander); his grandchildren, Esperanza, Jazmine, Alicia, Ruben II and Rebecca; his siblings, Henry Gonzales (Mary), Blanca Saenz, Reynaldo Gonzales (Bonnie) and Delia Gonzales; and his in-laws, Lorenzo Tovar (Teresa), Fidencio Tovar III (Melanie) and Belinda Hernandez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
