She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosie Lee of Washington and Homer McGhee; and her siblings, Jean and Ernest Phillips. She is survived by: her children, Bobby Vance, Linda Boyd-Lawson, Joyce Terrell, Johnnie Cotton, Rennie Cotton, Judy Craft and Leon Cotton; her grandchildren, Tameka Boyd, Latoya, Corion Cotton, Kenji Vance, Sedrick McGhee, Carlos, Latasha Terrell, Johnnie Cotton IV, Denisreon Craighead, Andrea and Dorion Adams; her siblings, Check McGhee, William Phillips, Bobby Haynes, Shirley, Harry and Larry Phillips; her daughters-in-law, Angela and Tammy Cotton; and her goddaughter Victoria Guster-Hines. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
