He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Everton and Bertha May Hills (Bradford); his wife Margaret E. Hills; his grandson Daniel Hills; his sisters, Rena Snell (Henry), Beulah Anderson (Cameron) and Betty High (John); and his siblings' children, Dale Snell, Arthur Snell and Linda Nichols.
He is survived by: his sons, Dr. Gary Hills (Gina) and Dr. Robert Hills (Jodie); his close friend Margaret "Peggy" Schambach; his grandchildren, Ryan Hills (Hailie), Evi Vontran (Brady), Justin Hills, Dylan Hills (Gabby), Julian Hills (Makayla), David Hills (Jeanine) and Marisa (Florian); his great grandchildren, Ezra, Arie Vontran, John Lalli Hills, Sadie Hills and Grayson Ratz; his niece Kay Pierce (William); and his siblings-in-law, Ann Shaler and Gerald Collins.
