She was predeceased by: her parents, Lelan H. Goodson and Elva May Goodson (Gayle); her husband James H. Peyton; her daughter Debra L. Kelly; and her siblings, Helen Belson, Lucille Gray, Wilma Goodson, Marvin, Tom and Melvin Goodson.

She is survived by: her son Dave Peyton; her grandson Case Peyton; her sister Marcille "Margorie" Guy; and her son-in-law Joel A. Kelly. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
