We are sad to announce that, on October 28, 2025, at the age of 58, Scott Anthony Proffer (Saginaw, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Gary Proffer; and his grandparents, Elmer, Ruth Dietzel, Clevel and Pauline Proffer.

He is survived by: his mother Dorthy Proffer Hakes; his stepfather Gary Hakes; his sister Holly Allen (Shane); his children, Sarah Krause, Anthony Fischer and Jacob Fischer; his grandchildren, Grant, Jadyn and Jacob; and his nephew Grannon Troutman. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles, many cousins, and many friends.
