With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley A. Young (Saginaw, Michigan), born in Schlater, Mississippi, who passed away on March 1, 2022 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy L. Summerall, Sr. and Little A. Holland-Summerall-Woodard; her stepfather Maurice Woodard; and her siblings, Sylvester Summerall, Elvie Eugene Summerall and Annie L. Moultrie (Bobbie J. Summerall).
She is survived by: her son Band; her husband Elbert L. Young, Jr. (Truck); her sons, Shannon E. Young (Nydetra) and DeAndre L. Young; her granddaughter Ceirra Outlaw; her siblings, Betty Mitchell (Albert), Marchelle Martin (Derric), Percy L. Summerall, Jr. (Nyoka) and James L. Summerall (Susan); her sisters-in-law, Inez Summerall and Peggy Ann Summerall; her aunt Christean James; and her grandchildren, Mordeke Presbury and Keith Miles (Alicia Sandifer). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
