She was predeceased by : her parents, Sotero Balcazar and Soledad Balcazar (Lopez); her sister Amelia Balcazar (Guadalupe); and her siblings-in-law, Consuelo Balcazar and Brigido Contreras.

She is survived by : her husband Jose Guzman; her children, Diana Gonzalez (Gerardo) and Alex Guzman (Selena Brown); her grandchildren, Marissa Hill (Manuel), Karianna Manriquez (Isaiah), Jessica Gonzalez (Calvin Callahan), AJ Guzman, Izabella Gonzalez, Jherzzie Guzman and Amaria Guzman; her great grandchildren, Gabryela, Haden, Maddox and Mateo; and her siblings, Jose-Maria Balcazar, Dolores Marin, Olga Raquel Contreras, Aurelio Balcazar (Vicky), Arturo Balcazar (Sulema), Victor Manuel Balcazar (Reina) and Hector Balcazar (Consepcion). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus Lounge (2280 Williamson Rd, Saginaw, MI 48601).
