He was predeceased by: his parents, John Veremis (Marigo) and Sophia Veremis (Gargalionis); his wife Irene M. Makriannis; his daughter Joanna Veremis; his son-in-law Pete Haralambis; and his siblings, Sophia Papst, George Veremis and Petros Veremis.
He is survived by: his daughter Dina Haralambis; his granddaughters, Irina and Maria Haralambis; and his brother Matina Ioannidis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Friends may visit the family from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603, where the Trisagion service will take place at 7:30 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.
