He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ruby and Dorothy Ruby (Licht); his sister Patricia Ruby-Douglass of Washington, DC; and his sister-in-law Mary Beth Moore. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Engelhardt; his daughters, Heather Ruby-Ewald (Thomas) of Saginaw and Dr. Katherine Ruby of Mt. Juliet, TN; his grandson Zachariah Ewald of Saginaw; his siblings, Donald Ruby (Linda Spain) of St. Charles, IA and Debra Ruby of Saginaw; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Douglass of East Tawas, Kenneth Engelhardt and Charles Engelhardt of Bay City. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
