He was predeceased by: his parents, S. Melvin Greer and Gertie Franklin Greer (Franklin); his wife Jessie Rose Greer (Tanksley); his daughter Gail Greer; and his siblings, Iona G. Drake, Marjorie Greer Pollock, Loda Greer, Insley Greer, Ora Greer, Lancaster Greer, Calvin Greer, Harold Greer, Horace Greer and B. J. Greer.
He is survived by: his children, Edith Adams (Otis), Tess Quarles (Leslie) of Saginaw and Broderick Greer (Shanda) of Shreveport, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Danitra Greer, Jo'Vion Greer, William Brewer, Ashley Brewer, Broderick Greer Jr., Janei Greer, Alexis Greer, Kyla Jackson, Andrea Wade (David) and Briana Greer; his great grandchildren, Zaria, Zamara Williams, Justice, Paradise Brewer, George Smithers Jr., Braylen Brewer, Peyton Conway, Khalil Coleman, Kensley Pennywell and Koby Young; and his great great grandchildren, Khari Lee, Justice Brewer Jr. and Princetin Horrison.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Evans & Browne's Funeral Home (441 N Jefferson Ave, Saginaw, MI 48607). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the World Outreach Campus (2405 Bay Rd, Saginaw, MI 48602).
