She was predeceased by: her husband John Cole; her parents, Silas Clayton and Robelia Clayton; her daughter Sandra "Kay" Cole; and her siblings, Rosie Lee Ray, Leatha Lee Hines, Willie Mae McGowan, Ozree Trezevant, Juanita Hudson, Edward Otis Clayton, Earnest Clayton, Rev. Columbus Clayton, Aaron Clayton and Willie Gene Clayton.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Foster (Larry), Cynthia Whittington (Dewayne), Joyce Humes (Charles), Roena Cole and Tony Cole; her grandchildren, Lakeyha Clark (Oscar), Tenecia Williams (Lawrence), Shaqwana "Felicia" Foster, Tanika Bryant-Coleman, Johnnie Bryant, Jr. (Tamika), Shiree Cole, Pearnell Scroggins, Jr. (Kay), Jacinta Haley, Tiffany Mitchner, Tony Cole, Jr., LaTesa Robelin and Shaqwanna Cole; her siblings, Johnella Thomas, Sammie Clayton (Ruth) and Silas Clayton, Jr. (Porsha); her sister-in-law Estella Long; and her close friend Delois McNair. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
