It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Hernandez (Saginaw, Michigan), who passed away on October 23, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mariano Hernandez and Lola Hernandez (Cerda); his wife Lee; and his siblings, Henry Hernandez, Mary Lou Prather, Jessie Hernandez, Josie Gawthrop, Alberto Hernandez, Daniel Hernandez, David Hernandez and Mario Hernandez.
He is survived by: his children, Paula Martinez, Raquel Perez, Rita Kontur (David) and Ramon Hernandez (Danielle); his grandchildren, Cynthia Perez, Federico Perez (Raquel), Isaiah Hough (Kerri), David Kontur (Jessica), Jessica Kontur, Andrew Kontur, Matthew Kontur and Autumn Hernandez; his great grandchildren, Stella Rose Perez-Groizard, Geraldo Gary Lopez, Federico Elvis Perez, Eva Elida Perez and Amelia Joy Hough; his siblings, Rick Hernandez, James Hernandez, Gloria Martinez and Lucy Pomeroy (Larry); and his siblings-in-law, Emma Corona, Lois Hernandez, Alberto Ramirez Jr. (Carmen), Marilyn Hernandez and Delores Ramirez. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
