It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Keeven of Saint Charles, Michigan, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Bernard may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand Keeven and Sophie Keeven (Lienau); his siblings, Anna Blaine, Herman Keeven and Harold Keeven; and his nephews, Harold Blaine and Dean Keeven.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Keeven; his children, Diane Thiers (Jim) of Chesaning and Darrell Keeven (Sue) of St. Charles; and his sister Marlene Van Patten of Holt. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
