She was predeceased by : her parents, Stanley Sample and Margaret Sample (Bennett); her husband Charlie Hare; her son John Hare; and her siblings, Madonna Lambert and Larry Sample.

She is survived by : her children, Amanda Tenney (John), Charles Hare (Linda) and Margaret Hare; and her granddaughter Mindy Louise. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a handful of great-great-grandchildren.
