He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert'Dutch'Honaman Honaman and Bernice Honaman (Hodges); his wife Dorothy Wagner; his in-laws, Wilfred and Beryl Wagner; his daughter-in-law Mandy Honaman; and his grandson John Paul Honaman.

He is survived by: his children, Christine Deming (Douglas) of Sebewaing, Richard of Sandusky, John (Nwazi) of Fort Worth and Joel (Sue) of Brant; his grandchildren, Angela, Dianna, Lauren, Emma Honaman, Sharleen Seltz, Casie Kirby, Ashley (Jamie) and Andrew Deming (Christina); his great grandchildren, Maci, Max and Theo Deming; and his friend Donna Reichard.

In lieu of flowers, friends may consider an expression of sympathy in his memory to the Marion Township Fire Department.
