She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Villarreal and Josefina Villarreal (Gonzales); her sister Alice Green; her siblings-in-law, Lisa Villarreal, Allen Gillespie and Joe Santellan; and her siblings, Don Villarreal (Ida), Julian Villarreal (Jo), Eugene Villarreal, B. Stoimenoff (Larry) and Cosme Villarreal (Mary Helen).
She is survived by: her husband Ramiro Cavasos; her sons, Carlos and Ramiro Jr. (Julie); her stepdaughters, Celina and Sandy; her grandchildren, Mia and Maximus; her stepgranddaughters, Alexandra, Megan and Jessica; her siblings, Joe Villarreal (Mary Ann), John Villarreal (Kara), Jesse Villarreal (Kay), Mary Helen MacKorell (Bill), Gloria Santellan, Mary Ann Gillespie, Rose Vallin (Dave), David Villarreal, Richard Villarreal, Carmen Thayer (Kevin), Albert Villarreal and Carolyn Karber (Dean); her half-sister Christina Rodriguez (late Rudy); and her sister-in-law Patti Villarreal. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
