She was predeceased by: her parents, Porfiria Guerrero and Emiliano Guerrero; and her siblings, Pauline, Lucy, Lupe, Margaret, Minnie, Ruby, Louis, Emil, Robert, Leroy, Eugene and Marianne.
She is survived by: her husband Henry Alva; her children, Valerie Beaudeon (Russ), Henry Alva (Ashley), Elizabeth Hudson (Jack), Connie Lopez (Paul), Sandy Kocur (Craig) and Raquel Alva; her grandchildren, Mannion Beaudeon, Evan Alva (Eva), Kurtis Alva (Sarah), Gabriel Alva, Abigail Alva, Aubrey Alva, David Balzer, Elizabeth Calhoun, Kameron Lopez, Christopher Mendyk, Jennifer Moore (Brad), Jackson Kocur and Alec Kocur; and her great grandchildren, Ayden, Alexandra Alva, Jacob, Jacquelyn Calhoun, Cora, Cleveland Moore, Kurtis Henry Grover Alva (KJ) and JoyAnn Barbara Alva.
In kind donations in honor of Irene may be made to the Dementia Society of America (http://www.dementiasociety.org) and Mary of the Immaculate Conception church (http://www.maryimmaculateconception.org). In honor of her contribution to serving those in need, in lieu of flowers for the funeral mass, the family asks that you gift bath towels or nonperishable food and they will distribute them to those in need.
