It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Mary Van Wormer of Saint Charles, Michigan, who passed away on August 24, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Rose had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Rose may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Fidanzo and May Fidanzo (Pulsinelli); her husbands, Robert Ruf and Herbert Van Wormer; her daughter Laura Griffus; and her son-in-law Kenneth Griffus.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeri Schneider (Fred), Rosalie Billeter (Alan) and Peggy Lotridge (Dave). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 26 great great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Saginaw Children's' Zoo or the Miss Michigan Scholarship Program.
