He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Adolf Deneweth and Virginia Deneweth; his wife Ruth; his children, Jeffrey, Rebecca Simms (late David), Nicole Stout (Steve), Jennifer Barry (Daniel), Stephanie Jogan (Jeff) and Lisa Fitzgerald; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Cory Simms, Stephen, Thomas, Emily Stout, Riley, Jeffrey, Charlie Jogan, Kayleen, Alexis and Maya Fitzgerald; his great grandchildren, Tegan, Hayden and Hazel; and his siblings, Harry (late Marilyn), Virginia Przekaza (Edmund), James (Rose) and Patricia Vandewalle (Frank). He was also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home - Warren (11470 E Thirteen Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48093). A rosary will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Lucy Catholic Church (23401 Jefferson Ave, St Clair Shores, MI 48080-1984). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
