He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Anthony Testa and Theresa Catherine Testa (Griffin); his siblings, Judith Stout, Diane Birchwale (Albert) and Frank Testa (Jane); and his nephew Joseph "Joey" Birchwale.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Testa; his daughter Nicole Testa; his stepchildren, Ivy Black (Ryan), Justin Spetz, Kyle Spetz and Keenen Murray; his grandchildren, Harper, Reese, Ryan and Iris; and his sibling-in-law Calvert Lynch.
Joe was a people person, from being the president for the New Jersey Chapter for Cooley's Anemia Foundation, as well as being awarded a man of the year for sickle cell anemia in the early 2000's.
