Van Kula and Jeff Van Kula (Gina); his granddaughters, Ava, Ella and Gianna; and his siblings, Anne Margaret Mraunac (Mick) and James Van Kula. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home (13650 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). The lying in state will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Church (4700 Metro Pkwy, Sterling Heights, MI 48310). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (18201 Clinton River Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48036).
