He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl McCartney and Patricia McCartney; his granddaughter Harper Sommers; his sister Janet McCartney; and his goddaughter Ashley Cooper-Brenner.
He is survived by: his wife Emily McCartney; his daughters, Amber Pollard (Matthew) and Hailey Sommers (Michael); his grandchildren, Connor Lumley, Hayden Pollard, Owen Pollard and Luke Sommers; and his siblings, Steve McCartney (Connie), Tom McCartney (Nereide), Dan McCartney (Stephanie), Mike McCartney (DeAnn) and Annie McCartney-Cooper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
