He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bruinsma and Susan Bruinsma; his spouse Kelly Ann Marcotte; his brother Wiebren Bruinsma; and his granddaughter Grace Sasser.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Bruinsma (Heather), Kathy Kryzaniwskyj (Andrew), Robert Bruinsma, Kory Bruinsma, Karin Sasser (William), Kristi-Allyn Bruinsma, Randall Bruinsma, Christopher Bruinsma, James Bruinsma, Jenna Bruinsma, Karissa Bruinsma, Lillian, Zackery, Aiden, Dominik, Riley, Rhomiromar, Ella, Ezra, Karianna, Ezekiel, Sapphira, Quinn, Selena, Sawyer, Hadley, Isabella, Braylon, Zayn, Kyra, Bosten and Jorja; and his siblings, Annette Byl (Bill), Dirk Bruinsma (Pam), Tina Bratt (Jim), Sid Bruinsma (Trudy), Henry Bruinsma (Margaret) and Audry Rose (John). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
