She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Wender and Reva Wender. She is survived by: her husband Richard Groff; her daughters, Stephanie Winkler (Tom) and Gena Koss (Stein); her grandchildren, Hannah Hartwig (Joseph), Ally Winkler, Alexa, Grace and Zachary Koss; her great grandchildren, Ellie and Luna Hartwig; her siblings, David Wender (Lucy), Robert Wender (Susan) and Christine Neill; and her pet Maggie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Clair Art Association, Blue Water Hospice Home, or the Michigan Animal Rescue League (MARL).
