He is survived by: his mother Illene Bartholomew (Mariage); his wife Patty Bartholomew; his children, Erica VanWormer, Zachary VanWormer (Megan) and Garrett Crandall (Lilly); his siblings, Deborah Meister, Janice Kasik (John) and Tim Bartholomew (Carolyn); his granddaughter Atticus VanWormer; and his siblings-in-law, Ralph Good and Linda Bartholomew. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
