He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Swain and Martha Swain (Perowitz); his wife Mary-Ellen; his stepfather George Blackney; his son Robert Humble; and his siblings, Gerald, Phyllis, Marlene and Martha.
He is survived by: his children, David Humble, Kevin Humble, Becky Beckwith (Don) and Norman Swain Jr. (Rose); his grandchildren, RJ, Donnie, Tim, Tasha, Chase, Brandon and Zach; and his brothers, George Blackney (Marilyn), Chuck Blackney (Debbie) and John Blackney.
