He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Theresa Young (Petricevic) and Willard "Tom" Young; his sister Joann Jean Young; his granddaughter-in-law Heather Marie Stein; and his in-laws, Francis "Punk" Parrent, George DeClerck and Lawrence "Mouse" Horner.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Young; his children, Suzanne Stein (Fredrick) and Brian Young; his grandchildren, Thomas Fredrick Stein, Marci Jo Mausolf (Scott), Ryan Michael Stein (Sherri), Tyler Brian Young and Ozzy; his great grandchildren, Britney Shae O'Neil, Miranda Ruth Mullally, Briar Mullally, Myranda Sue Stein, Hudson Stein, Brieana Mausolf and Amelia Stein; his great great grandchildren, Shae Lynn O'Neil and Teddy O'Neil; his sister Patricia Ann Stange; and his in-laws, Lucille Parrent, Jeannie DeClerck and Dale Horner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He embraced his work with a strong sense of commitment, evident in his tireless efforts and contributions to the community.
