He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth Luoma; his daughter Caroline Franz (Kristopher); his grandchild Sawyer Franz; his siblings, Timothy DeWick and Melissa DeWick; and his sisters-in-law, Maria Flores and Judith Donckers. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and a nephew.
