She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ney and Ada Ney (French); her husband Gerald; her children, Robert Cronan and Karen Cronan; her grandson Ashley; and her siblings, Delta Perry, Muriel Painter, Phyllis Ahlich, Guy Ney, Elmer Ney, Donald Ney, Earl Ney, Harold Ney, Gerald Ney, William Ney and Kenneth Ney.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Everson (Peter) of Brevort Lake, Mary Carlson (David) of Kingsford, Jean DeSelms (Terry) of Brentwood, James Cronan (Carol) of Grand Rapids, Margaret Madagame of Ann Arbor, Patrick Cronan (Barbara), Thomas Cronan (Sandra) of St. Ignace and Timothy Cronan (Susan) of Troy, Michigan; and her sister Carol Howdyshell of Ithaca, Michigan..
