He was predeceased by : his parents, Oliver Walter and Gena Louise Knight (Shafley); his wife Marilyn Lee Clark; his son-in-law Donald Young; his brothers, Kendall Knight (Gwen) and Dale Knight (Jane); and his sister-in-law Jane Knight.

He is survived by : his children, Philip (Linda Knight), Robert (Colleen Knight), Laura Young of Sarasota, FL and Tracy (Michael Baker); his grandchildren, Rebekah Lantis (Jason), Matthew Knight (Jenny), Taylor Baker, Holly Baker, Joshua Baker (Megan), Heather Gomez (Danny), Kelly Knight, Donovan Young, Nathan Keiser (Claire), Ryan Keiser (Lindsay) and Spencer Knight (Grace); and his brothers, Douglas Knight of St. Johns, MI and Rex (Georgie Knight). He is also survived by nineteen great- grandchildren.
