It is with sadness that the passing of Charles Jegla of Saint Johns, Michigan is shared. Charles, born on February 27, 1934, passed away on September 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Jegla and Rose Jegla (Fedewa); his children, Jeff Jegla and Kathy Jegla; his siblings, Theresa Thelen (Ray), Robert Jegla, Sr. (Ardis), Mary Cyrilla Jegla and David Jegla; and his siblings-in-law, Dan Thelen and Dorothy Jegla.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Jegla (Huhn); his children, Karen Shaler, Doug Jegla (Judy), Gary Jegla, Deb Fedewa (Mike), Chuck Jegla (Kris), Janet Doolittle (Tim), Julie Platte (Terry) and John Jegla (Annette); his siblings, Tom Jegla and Barbara Thelen; and his sister-in-law Betty Jegla. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the St. Mary's Funeral Chapel (210 N Westphalia St, Westphalia, MI 48894). Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (201 N Westphalia St, Westphalia, MI 48894).
