She was predeceased by : her parents, Fay Argersinger and Olive Argersinger (Bailey); her husband Gerald Latimer; and her children, Kalem Latimer Sr. and Amy Latimer.

She is survived by : her children, Julie Hopkins (Mike), Jennifer Newsom (Wayne) and Dan Latimer; her daughter-in-law Cindy Moore; and her grandchildren, Kalem Jr., Aaron Latimer (Jamie), Rachel Burnett (Lany), Sara Smith (Ben), Rev. Tiffany Newsom (KB), Cedrick Newsom and Deanna Latimer (Alex). She is also survived by Two step-grandchildren, Gigi's eight great grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and five step-great grandchildren.
