He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Stewart and Monique Stewart (Hall); and his sister May Marcell. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Stewart; his children, Christine (Fred Motz), Kelly (Gary Riley), Wanda (Marty Cleary), Cheryl Zarth and Karl Stewart; his siblings, Dorothy Ann Swerline and Jerry Stewart; his grandchildren, Zack, Hannah Lange, Danielle, Rob Bild, Jake, Bret Lange, Ashleigh, Kolton Nading, Carson Motz, Chloe Riley and Emma Riley; and his great grandchildren, Bentley, Rosalie, Claire, Spencer, Olivia, Whitley, Theodore, Gianna, Gentry, Jameson and Josephine.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Homes (104 E Cass St, St Johns, MI 48879). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at the South Bingham Cemetery (1500 W Taft Rd, St Johns, MI 48879).
