She was predeceased by: her parents, John Butzer and Frances Butzer (Rock); and her siblings, Judy, Jack, Paul, Mark, Karl, Mary, Sue and Matt.
She is survived by: her husband David Jewison (Waseca); her children, Theresa Carr, Ken Jewison (Leigh Anne) and Francis "Fran" Jewison (Katherine); her grandchildren, Raelynn Jewison (James), Zachary Jewison, Reed Jewison, Noah Jewison and Amanda Moore (Tom); her great grandchildren, David and Erica; and her brothers, Luke (Elizabeth), Tom (Bridget) and Stephen (Patricia). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A memorial gathering was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McGeehan Funeral Home, Keck-Coleman Chapel (1500 Waterford Pkwy, St Johns, MI 48879).
Memorial contributions may be made in Gretchen's name to the Clinton County Arts Council or the Clinton County Senior Center.
