He is survived by : his wife Nadine Evelyn Race; his daughters, Melody Nydam (Robert) of Whitinsville, MA, Dawn Hood (Richard) of Ovid, MI and Lori Barrett of Maple Rapids, MI; his grandchildren, Brandi Schneider (Joel), Linae Good (Kevin), Heather Barrett (Stewart), Amy Knapper (Phillip), James Barrett (Katie), Monica Srivastava (Vishwa), Michael Barrett (Lisa), Valerie Holt (Ryan), Bobby Nydam and Dillon Barrett (Hailee); his great grandchildren, Ty Cook (Kaitlyn), Zane Cook (Maggie), Ayden Cook, Ashley Good, Tyler Barrett, Zoe Southwell, Quintin Southwell, Henry Knapper, Caleb Knapper, Teddy Holt, Draven Barrett, Tori Barrett, Stanley Barrett, Lucy Barrett and Everett Barrett; his sisters, Helen Smith and Clarice Strayer; and his sister-in-law Sherry Vining. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
