Joseph Shelest Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Shelest of Saint Johns, Michigan, who passed away on September 9, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Andrew and Molly Shelest (Begus); and his daughter-in-law Peggy Shelest. He is survived by: his children, Richard Shelest (Peggy), Larry Shelest (Jackie), Kathy Cline (Doug), Clara Swihart (Jerry) and Andrew Shelest. He is also survived by his five children, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
