With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Caulkins (Saint Johns, Michigan), who passed away on February 3, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Julian and Elfrieda Julian; and her siblings, Robert, Norman (Dutch), Janece and Shirley.
She is survived by: her husband Bruce Caulkins (Brucie); her children, Robert Caulkins (Cheryl Becker) of Brighton, MI and Jennifer Messner (Jim) of Grand Rapids, MI; her grandsons, Noah, Nick and Gabe; and her caregiver Tim.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Johns Schools Foundation for Excellence, an organization that supports educational opportunities for students, that go beyond ordinary instruction in the community she so dearly loved (https://www.sjsffe.org).
