In loving memory of Mark Hathaway of Saint Johns, Michigan, who departed this world on December 4, 2025 at the age of 69. Mark leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Everette Hathaway; his son Jesse Hathaway; and his stepson Bobby Smith. He is survived by: his mother Janice Hathaway (Bigelow); his wife Linda Hathaway; his son Jacob Hathaway; his stepson Adam Smith (Lillian); his grandchildren, Lincoln and Quinn; his siblings, Todd Hathaway (Ruth) and Shelly Hathaway (Jeff); his half-siblings, Megan Reck (Chuck), Melissa Wisehart (Tom) and Michael Hathaway; his mother-in-law Verna Thurston; and his brothers-in-law, Roger Thurston (Karen), Richard Thurston (Lori) and Robert Thurston (Sandy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Johns VFW Post 4113 (2497 Old U. S. 27, St Johns, MI 48879).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory supporting veterans or by planting a tree.
