He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Magdeline Rice (Witgen) and Donald C. Rice; and his wife Pam (Rings). He is survived by: his daughter Kassandra Rose Rice; his stepchildren, Kelly Moore (Michael), James Ritter (Julie), Matthew Ritter (Jennifer Griffith) and Melissa Ritter (Joey Gephart); his sister Cheryl Onstad (Gary); his nephew Eric Onstad; and his niece Chelsea Onstad.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Smith Family Funeral Homes (104 E Cass St, St Johns, MI 48879). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Rest Cemetery (706 E Steel St, St Johns, MI 48879).
