Richard Dunigan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Dunigan of Saint Johns, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Dunigan and Myrtle Dunigan (Keeler); his siblings, Roy Dunigan Jr., Milo Crosby, Lloyd Crosby and Bonnie George; his granddaughter Christina Dunigan; and his great grandchild Erik Sturgis.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Dunigan (Moore); his children, Richard Dunigan (Barbara), Steven Dunigan and Penny Arnold; his grandchildren, Andrea Yakobe (Joe), Erika Ellsworth (Michael), Timothy Dunigan (Julie), Bill Dunigan (Carina), Sean Dunigan (Missy) and Danielle Arnold; his great grandchildren, Nathan Yakobe, Michelle Yakobe, Micah Yakobe, Nia Yakobe and Ryan Arnold; and his brother Robert Dunigan. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McGeehan Funeral Homes - Keck-Coleman Chapel (1500 Waterford Pkwy, St Johns, MI 48879). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (511 E Sturgis St, St Johns, MI 48879).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. John's Lutheran Church.
