He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Hartenburg and Enid Hartenburg (Whetstone); his grandson Jeremy; and his brother Larry Hartenburg. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Wieber; his children, Dean Hartenburg (Carrie), Neil Hartenburg (Becky), Laurie Blackmer (Gordon) and Brenda Simmer (Jeff); his grandchildren, Cassie Martin (Nick), Kara Raymond (Brent), Breann Baker (Max), Courtney Sutka (Brandon), Hannah Hartenburg, Morgan Ballinger, Jared Ballinger (Hannah), Madison Ballinger, Hayden Simmer and Nichole Smith (Austin); his great grandchildren, Liam of Anthony, Emmett, Tryton, Paisley, Willow and Shae; his siblings, Linda Foltz (late James) and Donald Hartenburg (Claudia); and his sisters-in-law, Magina McMillan and Gladys Ryan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
