With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Edwards of Saint Johns, Michigan, who passed away on May 21, 2026 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Edwards to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herschel Woodhams and Helen Woodhams (Houseman); her husband Charlie; her sisters, Helen "Susie" Santrusek and Mary Anna Mills; and her sons, Richard and David Mygrants.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Mygrants (late Jane), Roger Mygrants (Robin), Janette Neil (Scott) and Patricia Hall (late Gary); her grandchildren, Michael Joe, Patrick, Alfred, Michelle, Daniel, Mathew, Andrew, Tyler, Corey, Adam and Nakina; and her siblings, Gerri Wyble and Richard "Dick" Woodhams (Marie). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Lutheran Church (8990 Church Rd, St Johns, MI 48879). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
