He is survived by: his children, Allison Burk and Joshua Burk (Courtney); the mother of his children Ruth Brya; his grandchildren, Hunter and Savannah Burk; his brother Gary Burk; his sister-in-law Olga Burk; his nephew Matt Burk (Teresa); and his nieces, Megan Burk, Melanie Near (Jason), Lisa Burk, Shawn Pardee (Tim) and Mandy Petke (Craig). He is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the McGeehan Funeral Home, Keck-Coleman Chapel (1500 Waterford Pkwy, St Johns, MI 48879).
