She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Odell and Mabel Odell; her husband Larry Smith; her children, Gene Douglas "Doug" Smith and Janece "Jan" Bowers; her grandson Dustin Faultersak; and her siblings, Nancy Robandt, Jeanne Goodwin and Dennis Odell.
She is survived by: her son Bradley Smith of Mishawaka; her grandchildren, Michelle Ballard (Troy) of Coloma, Joshua Reichert (Kristin) of South Bend and Jessie Larscheid (Joe) of Iowa; her great grandchildren, Jacob Williams and Sydney Zuver (Garrett); and her goddaughter Wendy Burke-Karber (Roger). She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
