He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Myers and Madie Myers (Hingst); his great grandchild Monroe; and his sister-in-law Joyce Myers. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Joostberns; his sons, Doug Myers (Kim) of Caledonia and Jeff Myers (Heather) of Saugatuck; his grandchildren, Kellie Zammitt (Brett), Cooper Myers (Olivia) and Zoe Myers; his great grandchildren, Beckham, Morgan and Byron; and his brother Robert Myers.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lakeshore High School – Science Department.
