He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Stadelmayer and Olga Stadelmayer; his brothers, Fred, Jacob and Rudy Stadelmayer; and his brother-in-law Heinz Georgii.
He is survived by: his wife Helene Peppel; his children, Harry Stadelmayer of Lake Mary, FL and Elfi Berzins (Gerald) of Stevensville; his grandchildren, Ryan Berzins (Samantha) and Rachel Berzins; his great grandchildren, Zoey, Ben, Lily and Tyler Berzins; his sister Emma Georgii of Germany; and his siblings-in-law, Rose Stadelmayer of California, Elsa Stadelmayer of Indiana, Hubert, Linda Peppel of Coloma, Dorothy Peppel of Coloma, Lydia Von Imm of California and Judy Peppel of Washington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Washington Ave. Church of God (4051 Washington Ave, St Joseph, MI 49085). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the Hickory Bluff Cemetery (4290 Cleveland Ave, Stevensville, MI 49127).
